Visconti redesigned and embellished the Dôme des Invalidesto be a fitting final resting place for the "Little Emperor." Twelve statues of the goddess of victory surround his crypt to symbolize the French people. The complex also includes the Hôtel des Invalides and the Musée de l'Amreée.
